Welcome to Lakenheath Hotel
The Lakenheath Hotel is a charming country house hotel built in 1655, as the home to the 'master of the royal falcons'. In over 300 years the hotel has changed function many times, once being the doctors residence, then known as goward house. At this time part of the hotel was also used as the village pharmacy.
The Hotel is set in attractive grounds, with many areas for guest to relax. Although the hotel is over 300 years old it has retained its old charm in communal areas, and in the newly renovated guest rooms. It is also said that the hotel has tunnels running beneath it to the village church, and one priest hole, (that we know of !).
We have not forgotten our modern guest & are now dedicated to dispensing hospitality, comfort & good food.
